Inspired by our group of friends' journey across Asia, Silk Road set out to reimagine protective apparel that keeps pace with a life in motion. Frustrated by bulky, uninspired designs and a lack of transparency around safety standards, we made it our mission to create gear for those who refuse to stand still.
Our vision was clear, to craft apparel versatile enough to transition seamlessly from the bike to everyday life, subtle enough to blend in effortlessly, and uncompromising in protection and comfort. Because the journey doesn’t end when the ride does, we’ve designed protective clothing that not only performs but complements every moment—on and off the road.

From eliminating plastic in our packaging from day one to manufacturing with renewable energy, our commitment has always been to protect the world we’re so passionate about exploring. Every choice we make reflects our dedication to leaving a lighter footprint and building a future we can all be proud of.

Inspired by the durability of rugged workwear, with its reinforced rivets and toughened seams, we set out to redefine protective apparel with a style uniquely our own. Crafting lighter, stronger, and more discreet protection meant partnering with innovators like D3O®, Kevlar®, and Cordura® to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Working with their advanced materials, we stripped away anything that no longer served a purpose—outdated fabrics, excessive brand elements, and unnecessary weight we’re left behind. The result is a refined, modern approach to gear designed for endurance and performance.
